Long before biohacking had a name, there was a room in New York where people went to try yoga for the first time, to taste an herb they had only read about, or to sit with a meditation teacher for twenty minutes and leave seeing the week differently. That room has been NEWLIFE for more than thirty-five years. On Saturday and Sunday, November 7 and 8, it returns to Manhattan as the NEWLIFE Wellness Summit & Expo, and Creations readers get in early, for less.

Thirty-Five Years Ahead of the Curve
Mark Becker, known to longtime attendees as "The Original Biohacker," founded NEWLIFE when much of what it championed was still considered fringe: nutrition as medicine, herbs, breath, meditation, the idea that mind and body are one system rather than two departments. Today those ideas fill bestseller lists and clinic waiting rooms. NEWLIFE is still the place where the next ones show up first.
People don't simply want to live longer, they want to live healthier, stronger and more consciously. NEWLIFE has always been about discovering what's next.
A Weekend Across the Whole of You
This year's summit brings together roughly one hundred speakers and exhibitors, and the range is the point. In one afternoon you can move from a talk on longevity science to a functional medicine practitioner explaining what your labs may be missing, from the newest wellness technology to a conversation about consciousness that has nothing to do with gadgets at all. The program covers:
- Longevity and anti-aging, and what the research says about aging well rather than simply aging later
- Biohacking, from simple daily practices to the tools and wearables on the leading edge
- Functional medicine and holistic health, with practitioners who look for the root of a problem
- Consciousness and spirit, the inner work that has been at the heart of NEWLIFE from the beginning
- Wellness technology, with live demonstrations you can try for yourself
Between the lectures there are exhibits, hands-on demonstrations and, perhaps most valuable, the chance to meet the practitioners and makers in person, ask your own questions and follow your curiosity from one table to the next. The full schedule is posted on the NEWLIFE New York Expo page.
Featured Speakers
This year's featured voices span medicine, energy work and the edges of consciousness:
- Daniel Sheehan, UFO disclosure attorney
- Stephen Bassett, on a post-disclosure world
- Dr. Rob Silverman, The Cellular Energy Code
- Dr. Paul Ling Tai, integrative medicine and longevity
- Dr. Howard Robins, ozone therapy and regenerative medicine
- Donna McGrath, medical intuitive and energy healing
- Jodi Serota, vibrational sound healing
- Jeffrey V. Noble, emotional healing
- Alan Steinfeld, remote viewing
- Mark Becker, the original biohacker and founder of NEWLIFE
- Dr. Eric Kaplan, rewire your brain
- Peter Roth, Human Design
Alongside the talks you will find exhibitors, wellness products, holistic practitioners, networking, and a sound bath for healing.
How to Make the Most of It
Two days is a lot of wellness to take in, so give yourself a little structure. Look over the schedule before you arrive and circle the two or three talks you would be sorry to miss. Leave open time to wander the exhibit floor, because the best discovery of the weekend is often the one you were not looking for. Bring water, wear comfortable shoes and take notes; ideas that feel unforgettable on Saturday have a way of slipping away by Tuesday.
And if a practice speaks to you, a breathing technique, a way of eating, a meditation, try it gently over the following weeks. The weekend is a beginning, not a finish line.
