Do I need the App Store or Google Play?
No. The app installs straight from this page in about ten seconds, takes almost no storage, and updates itself. There is nothing to download from a store.
Will I get new-article alerts?
If you want them. After installing, open this page from the app and tap Turn on article alerts. When the day’s new pieces are published, your phone gets one gentle tap, never a barrage. On iPhone, alerts can only reach apps on your home screen, which is why installing comes first.
How do I remove it?
Exactly like any app: press and hold the icon, then choose remove or uninstall. Your phone treats it like any other app.
