The sun-tanned leaves on the tip tops

Were wearing their sunglasses and

Their purple and amber party clothes

They had drunk much of the summer sun

And had become punchy and overloaded

Hanging on, and over, the world

But alas...

The Autumn Wind had other plans

And blew her bugle.

Down, down the party-goers went in

A delicate dance

To the ground below...

Confetti-strewn
