Peacefully

Sparrows, finches, blue jays, robins,
Hidden so perfectly,
Behind the huge trees.
Eager to express their happiness.
Feeling such joy
From the warmth of the sun.
They chirp their own patterns
Soothing me.
They are a symphony
To my ears.
I sit silently, as I close my eyes
And dream,
Peacefully.
