Port Washington Outdoors Dine & Shop Returns 🛍

The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, partnering with Residents Forward, Port Washington BID, and Landmark, have teamed up to bring an outdoor dining and shopping experience to residents.

Port Outdoors Dine & Shop events will be used to create pedestrian-only zones, allowing more foot traffic for Main Street businesses as well as plenty of events and entertainment.

Outdoors Dine & Shop made its debut in 2020 as part of a trend from many local governments and businesses to encourage Long Island residents to shop and dine locally.

Described in the Chamber of Commerce’s April announcement as transforming Main Street into an “open-air mall,” Port Outdoors aims to give residents a relaxed, comfortable time outdoors without having to worry about traffic.

Port Outdoors events are held every other Thursday, from 4 to 10 p.m., and are held at alternating zones. Upper Main Street along with the Port Commons is one, while Middle and Lower Main Street is the other. The event includes free parking at the Long Island Railroad Station and other side streets. Outdoors Dine & Shop will continue through October 7, 2021.
